Hey there,
Welcome to my little corner of the internet, thanks for stopping by!!
My name is Courtney, I’m a university-qualified nutritionist (and pilates instructor) passionate about creating balance when it comes to diet, nutrition and lifestyle.
I believe in empowering people through education to make the decisions that best serve their health, wellbeing and overall lifestyle. I’m passionate about helping people find the joy in food by clearing the confusion around what healthy really looks like.
Growing up, I hated science. I was that person that gave up science the second I possibly could because (realistically) if I hated it that much, there was no chance I’d ever use it in my future career… In reality, I couldn’t have been more wrong.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition Science and Bachelor of Business Administration from ACU in 2023 (which, I can confirm, was VERY science heavy and for good reason).
Safe to say, I don’t hate science NEARLY as much anymore!!
My passion for nutrition was born from my own struggles with my diet and nutrition. At 16, almost overnight every food seemed to give me digestive symptoms which made eating extremely difficult and affected my own relationship with food more than I cared to admit at the time.
I was diagnosed with IBS and was taken to see a dietitian to support me in finding exactly what was causing my symptoms. We worked together to heal my relationship with food and make me feel confident in choosing foods that left me feeling my best.
From this whole experience, the key takeaway that has always stuck with me?
There’s no such thing as “perfect”. Balance is key.
As a nutritionist, I work with clients on general healthy eating, supporting you to make nutrition feel a little less overwhelming. I help clear the confusion around what healthy eating actually looks like and, instead, support you to find a balance that fuels you and your lifestyle.
